Refining ladle is also used to decarburizationin the producing of siliconchrome(raw materials forLC-ferro chrome produce) Mix the liquid silicon chrome with slag powder which is made up ofLC-ferrochrome slag and fluorite powder,and then start the refining ladle at 50-70r/min rotational speed for about 10-15 minutes. After treatment, the carbon content can be reduced to below 0.02%, decarburization efficiency above 90%.
